ISO 37001 Lead Implementer Certification

The ISO 37001 Implementer certifications are credentials for professionals needing to implement an Anti-bribery Management System (ABMS), and, in case of the ISO 37001 Lead Implementer Certification, needing to manage an implementation project.

The principal competencies and knowledge skills needed by the market are the ability to support and organization in implementing and managing an Anti-bribery Management System (ABMS) based on ISO 37001:2016, planning, implementation, surveillance, re-examination and operation of an ABMS, continual improvement of an ABMS, management’s commitment, follow-up and review.

Various professions may apply for this certification:

  • Project managers or consultants waiting to prepare and support an organization in the implementation of Anti-bribery Management System (ABMS)
  • ISO 37001 auditors wish to fully understand the Anti-bribery Management System implementation process
  • Persons responsible for Anti-bribery conformity in an organization
  • Members of Anti-bribery  team
  • Technical experts of the organization wanting to prepare for Anti-bribery Management System function or for Anti-bribery Management System project management function

The requirements for “Implementer” certifications are:

For certification purposes, the following implementation types constitute valid implementation experience:

If an applicant doesn’t have all requirements to apply for the credentials of ISO 37001 Lead Implementer, he/she may apply for the credentials of ISO 37001 Implementer or ISO 37001 Provisional Implementer.

  1. Internal Implementation
  2. External/Consulting Implementation
  3. Partial Implementation

To be considered valid, these implementation activities should follow best implementation practices and include most of the following activities:

  1. Drafting an ABMS implementation business case
  2. Managing an ABMS implementation project
  3. Implementing anti-bribery hazard controls and procedures
  4. Managing anti-bribery hazard controls
  5. Implementing corrective or preventive action
  6. Performing internal audit
  7. Performing a management review
  8. Performing a hazard assessment
  9. Managing incidents
  10. Managing an anti-bribery team
